Change to Eligible Tests for English Language Proficiency

Consistent with recent changes to federal policy, the OINP will also be accepting the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Core from Pearson Canada, Inc. as demonstration of English proficiency for all OINP streams that require proof of English language proficiency and for OINP Expression of Interest (EOI) points claims. The PTE will be an additional test that applicants may submit to the program to demonstrate their language ability.

Candidates only received a notification if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 352-421 and work experience in the following national occupational classification (NOC) codes.
